Smt. Sharmila Gurunathan founded this prestigious institution in 2015 with the goal of realizing her grandmother's dream of becoming a highly skilled violinist in carnatic music, Smt. Kamakshi Ekambaram. The founder established the Top-Notch Instituition, Rudhrayazh Academy of Music and Fine Arts under the Kamakshi Ekambaram Trust in accordance with her Grandparents intentions and instructions. This academy strives to offer the best instruction in classical music, dance, and other artistic disciplines.
Every year, we organize a rich variety of events, including concerts, programs, competitions, and traditional celebrations that honor Indian culture. Currently, our academy is proud to have around 120 enthusiastic students enrolled in a diverse range of courses.
Excitingly, in 2023, our academy has established a valuable partnership with Dr. J. Jayalalitha Music and Fine Arts University, allowing us to offer Off-Campus Grade exams, Diploma, and Advanced Diploma courses. This collaboration opens up even more opportunities for our students to excel and grow as musicians. I am truly thrilled about the bright future ahead for our academy and our students!
